Victoria week continues.  The classic Victoria doll.

I have used the most lovely pink and blue ticking print for these dolls.  The hair is a cream boucle which I have cut into lengths, knotted into bunches and sewn around the seam line at the top of the head.  Shoes are painted, varnished and trimmed with braid with a little buckle on the side to look like little buckle shoes.

Hey there

Victor and Victoria dressed as clowns.  What a lot of fun to make...I particularly like the idea of using different black and white prints for clowns, then adding a splash of colour.

Victoria Baby

Hey there.

I've been having a bit of a Victoria week.  Here is the finished Victoria Baby.  I love making this doll - she has the most beautiful lace.  I've used 4 different trims - 3 are beautiful Guipere lace, and one is ricrac.
